( From-prices explained )

What changes the price?

  • SizeA Chihuahua and a Newfoundland are not the same afternoon.
  • Coat typeCurly, double and heavy coats take longer to dry and to brush out.
  • ConditionMatting, fleas or ticks mean extra time and care; the extras above cover it.
  • TemperamentNervous or wriggly dogs get more breaks, so the groom takes longer.

For an exact quote, message Annabel with your dog's breed and a photo of the coat.

( Which groom? )

Which groom does my dog need?

A rough guide by coat type. Annabel will confirm when she sees your dog.

  • Short, smooth coats

    Labradors, Staffies, Beagles

A Bath & Brush keeps the coat clean and takes out loose hair, so there is less of it on your sofa.

  • Wool and curly coats

    Cockapoos, Cavapoos, Poodles, Bichons

These coats mat quickly. A regular Full Groom with a style to suit, and a Bath & Tidy in between, keeps them comfortable.

  • Silky and feathered coats

    Cocker and Springer Spaniels, Setters

A Bath & Tidy keeps feet, ears and feathering neat; a Full Groom when the coat needs taking down.

  • Double and thick coats

    Golden Retrievers, Collies, Huskies

A Bath & Brush with a thorough brush-out clears the shedding undercoat without clipping it.

Cockapoo owners: there's a whole post on how often a Cockapoo needs grooming and which style to ask for.

( To be clear )

What Annabel doesn't do.

  • Home visits. All grooming is at the salon in Hunstanton (Tuesday and Wednesday) or King's Lynn (Friday and Saturday).
  • Dogs with a history of severe aggression. Nervous dogs are welcome; please tell Annabel in advance so she can plan a calmer session.
