Short, because we collect very little.

Who we are

Annabel's Canine Styling is a sole-trader dog grooming business in West Norfolk, working from salons in Hunstanton and King's Lynn. You can reach Annabel by WhatsApp or text on 07575 312795.

What we collect and why

When you book, we collect your name, phone number and the messages you send, plus details about your dog: name, breed, age, and any health or behaviour information you give us. We use this to arrange and carry out the groom safely, to contact you about your appointment, and to keep a record of past grooms. The legal basis is the contract between us and, for reminders and records, our legitimate interest in running the business.

We may photograph your dog before and after grooming for Annabel's Instagram and Facebook pages, as described in the terms and conditions. Tell Annabel before the appointment if you would rather we didn't.

How we collect it

By WhatsApp, text message, phone call, and Instagram or Facebook messages. This website has no forms and doesn't collect personal information itself.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your details or share them for marketing. Messages sent by WhatsApp, Instagram or Facebook are processed by those services under their own privacy policies. In an emergency we may share your dog's details with a vet, as set out in the terms and conditions.

This website

The site is hosted by Vercel, which keeps short-lived server logs to operate the service. We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views; it sets no cookies and doesn't identify individual visitors. The site sets no cookies of its own.

How long we keep it

Booking details are kept while you remain a customer and for up to six years afterwards, to meet accounting and tax record-keeping requirements, then deleted.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict its use. Message Annabel on 07575 312795 to make a request. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
