No. All grooming is at the salon: Honey's House in Hunstanton on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and CK9 Dog Grooming in King's Lynn on Fridays and Saturdays.

Whether your dog has been groomed regularly before, any history of aggression, areas of grooming they don't like, whether they're friendly with other dogs, and any medical issues such as allergies. Please also mention injuries, recent surgery or behaviour issues before the appointment.

Bath & Brush is from £30, Bath & Tidy from £40, Full Groom from £45 and the Puppy Intro is £35. They are from-prices because the final cost depends on your dog's breed, size and coat condition. Payment is due when the groom is finished. Cash, Card and Bank transfer are all fine.

Heavily matted coats, and cleaning the salon after fleas or ticks, may each add £5 to £10 depending on severity. Late collection is £5 per 15 minutes unless agreed in advance. Cancelling with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a fee of up to 50% of the service cost.

Yes. Every dog is groomed one-to-one and at its own pace, with breaks when they're needed. Older dogs and dogs with medical conditions are groomed at the owner's risk, so please tell Annabel about anything she should know beforehand. Read more on grooming nervous dogs and grooming older dogs.

Dogs with a history of severe aggression. If a dog becomes excessively stressed during a groom or poses a risk to itself or to Annabel, the groom may be stopped, and a charge may still apply for the time spent.

Dogs should be up to date with their vaccinations, or have appropriate veterinary guidance about their health status. Dogs showing signs of a contagious illness, parasites or an infectious skin condition may be refused until they have been treated.

Heavy matting is uncomfortable for the dog and may need clipping close to the skin. Removing severe matting can reveal or cause irritation, redness or small nicks, and Annabel will always groom humanely and in your dog's best interests. Severe matting adds £5 to £10 for the extra time and care. There's more on why a matted coat gets clipped short.

Once your vet is happy that their vaccinations are complete. The Puppy Intro (£35) is a gentle first visit to get your puppy used to the bath, dryer and clippers, so later full grooms are relaxed rather than a shock. There's a four-week plan for preparing your puppy on the blog.

It depends on size, coat and how your dog settles. Annabel will give you an idea when you book and will message you when your dog is ready to collect. Please collect promptly once you hear from her.

Please give at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Arriving late may mean a shorter groom or rescheduling, with the full fee still payable. Missed appointments without notice may be charged in full. The terms and conditions have the details.

Annabel may take before and after photos for her Instagram and Facebook pages. If you would rather your dog wasn't photographed, just say so before the appointment.
